डॉ. रवींद्र कुमार को आणविक हेमेटोलॉजी विशेष रूप से हीमोग्लोबिनोपैथी में 10 वर्ष से अधिक के अनुसंधान का अनुभव है। उनकी भावी योजना विभिन्न जनजातियों में बीटा थैलेसीमिया उत्परिवर्तन के स्पेक्ट्रम की पहचान करना और सिकल सेल एनीमिया के लिए लागत प्रभावी जांच पद्धति विकसित करना है।
