Dr. Vagisha Rawal is working in the field of entomology as Scientist 'C'. She specializes on the behavior of insects. She did her B.Sc., M.Sc., M. Phil and Ph.D., from Delhi University. She taught at the prestigious Sri Venkateswara College of Delhi University for the previous eight years. In addition to teaching, she has actively participated in a number of extracurricular activities, such as organising National and International conferences, workshops, and hands-on training. She also contributed to the design of the NEP (National education policy) syllabus and the syllabus restructuring of Learning Outcomes-based Curriculum Framework LOCF for Delhi University undergraduate students. She is interested in the field of Vector born diseases, Genomic surveillance vector and parasites and Integrated vector management.
