Profile

Dr. S. Rajasubramaniam is skilled in Molecular biology and cell signalling. His team is currently focussed on providing diagnostic services for various Hemoglobinopathies besides training and developing human resources for 19 states with Tribal population in collaboration with Ministry of Tribal Affairs. In future, his team is aiming to develop a non invasive diagnostic procedure for oral cancer.

Under the Joint intiative of ICMR and Ministry of Tribal affairs, Govt of India, training for screening of Sickle Cell Anemia was carried by Dr. Rajasubramaniam and his team in 14 Indian states involving Officers of state TRIs and Medical professionals and was widely covered among National and Local News papers in the region (a) Prabhat Khabar, Patna Edition July 5, 2015. (b) Hindustan, ranchi City Edition April 24, 2015.
